The Walpole Mall Reintroduces Itself as The Link, Walpole—A Reimagined Community Destination

Published: May 19, 2026

WALPOLE, MA (May 19, 2026) — A familiar local destination is stepping into an exciting new chapter. Formerly known as The Walpole Mall, the property is officially unveiling its new name and brand identity: The Link at Walpole—a refreshed, modern hub designed to bring community, convenience, and connection together.

The Link at Walpole reflects the evolution of a well-loved property into something more vibrant and intentional. With a renewed focus on families, local businesses, and everyday experiences, The Link connects neighborhood favorites with essential retailers in a welcoming setting where guests can shop, gather, and discover something new with every visit.

“This transformation has been thoughtfully underway for some time,” said Tom Wilder of Wilder. “The Link at Walpole is more than a name change—it’s a reflection of how the property has grown alongside the community and how we’re continuing to invest in creating a place people genuinely enjoy spending time.”

A Fresh Look, Inside and Out

Over the past several years, the property has undergone a series of meaningful updates that laid the foundation for this rebrand. Enhancements include refreshed landscaping, façade painting, exterior and interior improvements, and expanded event programming. Together, these updates have transformed the center from a traditional mall into a lively, community-oriented destination.

Beginning May 19, guests will start to see The Link at Walpole branding come to life across the property, including new signage, a brand-new customer-friendly website, updated social media channels, and additional community-centric elements.

New amenities will also continue to roll out, including an original Little Free Library, playful outdoor touches like hopscotch, and additional family-friendly events designed to bring neighbors together throughout the year.

Welcoming New Tenants to The Link

The reimagining of The Link at Walpole is further energized by an exciting lineup of new tenants recently opened at the property:

Fun City
Families can jump into nonstop fun at Fun City, a 40,510-square-foot indoor adventure park packed with high-energy attractions including trampolines, ninja warrior courses, climbing walls, a ropes course, and more. It’s the perfect destination for birthday parties, rainy-day play, and weekend adventures for all ages.

MilkShake Factory
Serving up hand-spun shakes and decadent sweet treats, MilkShake Factory has officially opened its first Massachusetts location at The Link, Walpole. Guests can enjoy signature favorites like the Chocolate Cake Shake, Cookie Jar, and Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, along with house-made chocolate bars and barks—perfect for an after-school treat or weekend indulgence.
