Kissimmee's Loop West announces 20 new retailers and restaurants

The developer of the Loop West shopping center in the Kissimmee-area officially announced the names of more than 20 retailers and restaurants that will join the center over the next several months.

The new stores will be part of what is now an 840,000-square-foot shopping complex developed by the Boston-based Wilder Companies. The developer's original shopping center, called the Loop, opened in 2005 at the corner of John Young Parkway and Osceola Parkway.

The Loop West, spanning 400,000 square feet and located adjacent to the Loop, is expected to add several merchants by the end of summer.

New stores coming to the Loop West include: Babies "R" Us, DSW, Aveda, GNC, GameStop, Zales, Beya, Pearle Vision, Victoria's Secret, New York & Company, Bath and Body Works, Christopher & Banks, CJ Banks, Tilly's, Ulta and Books A Million.

New restaurants will include: BJ's Restaurants, Bonefish Grill, Pei Wei, and Abuelos. A Tropical Smoothie Café will also join the open-air center
